Do you want to make an impact in your local and global communities? Join The Florida Aquarium’s Teen Education Volunteer Program as they help support our mission to entertain, educate, and inspire Aquarium guests! Most training will be given at The Florida Aquarium, with some readings and online trainings to be completed at home. At least one information session must be attended by applicant and their parent / guardian before being accepted into the Teen Education Volunteer program.
This program is designed to empower teens to take action for the ocean and the natural environment. Student Environmental Action League members meet at least monthly to discuss opportunities for teens to participate in internal and external Aquarium events.

Teen Education Volunteers support the Education Department on the public Aquarium exhibit pathway. Teen Education Volunteers may serve at interpretive displays sharing biofacts with guests, at our interactive animal touch pools, or other areas along the public exhibit pathway.
This program is recommended for those who are considering a career in education, environmental sciences, conservation, public speaking, or other related fields.
Training Classes (must attend one of each)
This program is designed to support the Education Department during the summer, in AquaCamps and on the Aquarium's exhibit pathway during summer. Junior Educators will serve with camp for one full day per week and on the public exhibit pathway one full day per week.
