Heart of the Sea, the flagship exhibit of the Waves of Wonder gallery, is a 100,000 gallon habitat which showcases three of The Florida Aquarium's conservation priorities—sea turtles, coral and sharks. This habitat is home to a variety of native Florida species and is the Aquarium's second largest display, second only to a 500,000 gallon Coral Reef habitat.
See more than 400 animals including an endangered sea turtle rescued by the Aquarium, sharks, coral reef fishes, underwater coral trees and more.
Equipped with underwater cameras and interactive technology, guests can get a cool new underwater perspecitve of the exhibit's residents. A daily dive show tells the story of how the Aquarium—with your support—is working to protect and restore our blue planet on many conservation fronts.
