The Aquarium is proud to offer a variety of resources, programs and perks for teachers. From field trips to Teacher Study Workshops, the Aquarium aims to inspire the next generation of scientists through the support of educators.
The Florida Aquarium is excited to provide webisodes which focus on different aspects of the natural environment. Take a journey to discover the natural world above and below the water's surface! Learn about sharks, sea turtles, oysters, fishes of the wetlands, marine mammals, and coral.
Dive in to an amazing undersea experience with a field trip to The Florida Aquarium.
Come get a firsthand look at the Carol J. & Barney Barnett Learning Center, themed to inspire learning and equipped with advanced technological learning tools. Find out about our innovative programs, explore the Aquarium's exhibits and receive information about field trip planning. Aquarium admission included for the day.

Register for Teacher Open House
This program is designed to provide current, qualifying VPK, K-12 teachers, assistant principals, and principals complimentary admission to the Aquarium to plan and/or prepare for a field trip. Teacher Study Program cardholders will receive complimentary admission to the Aquarium through August 31, 2019. Please review our FAQs for full eligibility requirements.
Teacher Study Program FAQs
The application form must be completed at least 72 hours prior to your visit. Upon approval, you will receive a receipt to the email provided. The receipt will include an order number and list 'Teacher Study Program' under 'Items'. Once approved, your card will be mailed to the address provided in 2-3 weeks.
Walk-ups, or applicants who have not received an approval receipt, will pay full Aquarium admission cost.
NOTE: Public school teachers must provide a valid DOE number. Private school teachers without a DOE number, please upload a letter certifying your employment as a teacher from your supervisor.
