The Aquarium is proud to offer a variety of resources, programs and perks for teachers. From field trips to Teacher Study Workshops, the Aquarium aims to inspire the next generation of scientists through the support of educators.
The Florida Aquarium is excited to provide webisodes which focus on different aspects of the natural environment. Take a journey to discover the natural world above and below the water's surface! Learn about sharks, sea turtles, oysters, fishes of the wetlands, marine mammals, and coral.

The Florida Aquarium offers hands-on, multidisciplinary teacher workshops throughout the school year. Workshops are aligned with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and Common Core Standards and are engaging for teachers of all levels. In-service points are available for most workshops. We can also host a workshop for your group or customize a topic to suit your specific needs. Be sure to check back throughout the year to get more updates and workshop offerings! Applying to the Teacher Study Program allows qualifying Florida, VPK, K-12 teachers, assistant principals, and principals, complimentary admission to The Florida Aquarium for the school year. The Teacher Study Program is designed to give teachers the opportunity to plan for a field trip to The Florida Aquarium.
Teacher Study Program FAQs
The application form must be completed at least 72 hours prior to your first visit. You will receive your Teacher Study Program card in the mail approximately 2-3 weeks following approval. Walk-ups will pay full Aquarium admission.
Note: If you do not have a DOE number, please upload a letter certifying your employment from your supervisor.
