Celebrate Day of the Dead with a Splash of Color
The Florida Aquarium is throwing its first-ever Day of the Dead party—and our adorable axolotl, Xochi, is the life of the fiesta in her dazzling Día de los Muertos outfit!
Discover traditions from her home in Mexico City as you wander through vibrant sugar-skull decor, join in on interactive games and crafts, and learn about this joyful celebration of life and remembrance. Bring the whole crew for hands-on activities, bright tributes, and festive surprises all weekend long.
Included with general admission.
Activities include:
- Sugar skull-inspired décor and habitat enrichment throughout the Aquarium
 - Create a colorful sugar skull craft to take home
 - Pet Ofrenda – bring a photo of a beloved pet or animal to honor at our community ofrenda
 - Day of the Dead face painting for kids and families
