Bring The Florida Aquarium to Your School

Thank you for your interest in having The Florida Aquarium be part of your school’s Great American Teach-In.

Every year we receive many requests, and we do our best to visit as many schools as possible.

To maximize the number of students we can reach, we will be offering up to two (2) 30-minute sessions for each school that we are able to visit. Schools are chosen by random lottery.

To ensure that a visit from the Aquarium is the best fit for your school, please note the following:

  • Presentations will be about Aquarium careers and may include a slideshow presentation and/or biofact (depending on the presenter).
  • For the safety and well-being of our animals, presenters will not bring any live animals. If you’re interested in a visit from one of our animal ambassadors, please see our Outreach Program.
  • Presentations from The Florida Aquarium are best suited for 2nd-12th grade students.

Applications are now closed for the 2025-2026 school year. You will hear back from us by November 4, 2025.
