The Florida Aquarium is making waves in May with a full lineup of limited-time deals, special events, and meaningful ways for guests of all ages to have fun and make a difference in the Tampa Bay community.

🥣 Kick Off Summer by Giving Back (May 1 – June 5)
Guests can help fight childhood hunger by participating in Feeding Tampa Bay’s Cereal for Summer collection. For every box of cereal donated at the Aquarium, guests will receive a limited-edition “I ❤️ The Florida Aquarium” wristband (up to four per donation, adult and child sizes available, while supplies last).

With one in four children in Tampa Bay facing food insecurity when school is out, each donation helps provide a week’s worth of meals—turning a day at the Aquarium into a powerful act of giving.

⚡️ Celebrate the Tampa Bay Lightning (May 2)
Hockey fans can show their team pride during a special Tampa Bay Lightning-themed day at the Aquarium. The first 100 guests wearing Lightning gear will receive $5 off general admission, along with giveaways and surprise experiences throughout the day.

💕 Make a Splash This Mother’s Day (May 10)
Families can treat Mom to an unforgettable day with a special buy one, get one free admission offer. From playful otters to awe-inspiring sharks, it’s a memorable way to celebrate together. This offer is available in person at the ticket booth on May 10 and cannot be combined with other discounts.

🎖️ A Tribute to Bravery
In honor of the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of the nation’s heroes, The Florida Aquarium is offering complimentary general admission to active duty, veteran, and retired U.S. military members over Memorial Day weekend. This special in-person offer recognizes those who have served and continue to serve. Please check the website in May for additional details.

🕘 More Time to Explore
Guests will have even more time to enjoy the Aquarium with hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the month (except May 19), and extended hours until 6 p.m. on Mother’s Day and Memorial Day weekend (May 23–25).
