With thousands of animals in our care, animal welfare is a top priority at The Florida Aquarium. Your support helps us deliver world-class care, from enriching environments to preventative health services, that keep our animals thriving.
From beach cleanups to public education, The Florida Aquarium is deeply engaged in the community of Tampa Bay and beyond. Your gift supports campaigns like Bead-Free Bay, clean-ups, and local partnerships that promote sustainability and equitable, eco-friendly transportation.
Your support powers science-driven efforts to protect coral reefs, rehabilitate sea turtles, educate the public, and advance critical conservation work. We lead breakthroughs in coral spawning, sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation, and vital health research to improve sea turtle care and husbandry techniques.
The Florida Aquarium’s Coral Conservation Program works to protect at-risk species, increase coral reproduction rates, advance coral health, and restore the Florida Reef Tract. Your donation helps advance this critical work by supporting research, innovation, and restoration of these vital creatures.
Your donation supports STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education that inspires the next generation of ocean stewards. Through hands-on learning and strong partnerships with schools and communities, we empower young people, including those in underserved areas, with inclusive, science-based programs, often bringing the natural environment directly to students.
