From rescue to rehab to release:

Every rescued sea turtle brought to The Florida Aquarium is on a critical path to recovery.

From the moment they arrive at our Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center to their triumphant return to the ocean, rehabilitating just one sea turtle is a journey that can cost as much as $15,000 and take as long as eight to ten months. And without government funding, every step of that journey is powered entirely by the compassion and generosity of people like you.

All sea turtle rehabilitation work conducted by The Florida Aquarium is done with the approval of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission under conditions not harmful to marine turtles and authorized under conservation activities pursuant to FWC MTP-26-179.
