Sleepovers
Ever wonder what happens at the Aquarium at night? Do sharks snooze? Do turtles tire? Wonder no more! Grab a sleeping bag to enjoy a sea starry night! Make a sleepover reservation as soon as possible as dates are limited and fill up quickly.
Minimum of 15 paid participants.
- Guided education instruction by The Florida Aquarium’s team members
- An evening walk along the Wetlands of Florida inside the Aquarium’s iconic Wetlands dome
- Late-night pizza snack
- Sleeping near the fishes and other marine life
- Next day admission to the Aquarium
- Light Breakfast
- Sleepover runs from 7:00 PM – 9:30 AM the next day
- Additional items can be added: patches, cupcakes, extra pizza, and conservation bracelets
- School Groups (Grades 2 and higher)
- Scout Groups (Ages 8 and older)
- Organized Youth Groups (Ages 8 and older)
- Adult-only groups cannot participate in sleepovers

Booking Guidelines
- Children must be at least 8 years old
- 1 free chaperone for every 10 children
- Capacity: Minimum 15 paying participants, Maximum 80 participants
- $100 non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking. Remaining balance is due two weeks prior to program
- Sleep with the Fishes must be booked at least three weeks in advance

Roll up your sleeves and join an expert instructor for a guided dissection of a squid. Examine both the internal and external structures of these amazing aquatic creatures and learn how they thrive in the ocean through a hands-on, interactive experience.

See what it takes to save a stranded sea turtle during this expert-led mock sea turtle rescue. Learn all about required veterinary care and rehabilitation, as well as the release process followed by The Florida Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Conservation Program.

What makes a fish a fish? Learn all about fish anatomy and use your newfound knowledge to identify fish around the Aquarium — spoiler alert: Get ready for a few surprises! Plus, you’ll discover the important roles that fish play right here in Tampa Bay.

Ever wonder what it takes to operate a REALLY big fish habitat? Get insider knowledge with this Aquarium instructor-led activity, which pulls back the curtain with a tour of areas not typically open to the public, including our commissary and reef deck.
