Exploring Essential Habitats of Tampa Bay - Teacher Workshop

Join The Florida Aquarium for a one-day professional development workshop exploring the oyster and mangrove habitats vital to Tampa Bay. Designed for middle and high school science teachers, this interactive program covers the biology, ecology, and importance of these ecosystems to coastal health.
Participants will engage in STEM activities, receive related curricula and stewardship resources, and earn a $90 stipend upon completion. This workshop is made possible through grant funding by Tampa Bay Estuary Program.
Who: Science teachers in grades 6-12 in the following counties (due to grant restrictions): Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, and Manatee.
