Swim & Dive

Immerse yourself in The Florida Aquarium's largest habitat—the Coral Reef—when you choose to participate in our swim and dive programs. Get up-close to many of Florida's native sea life including hundreds of reef fishes, nurse sharks, moray eels, sand tiger sharks and much more. You bring a swimsuit and towel (optional: bring your own mask), and we'll provide the rest!

 

Swim with the Fishes

An in-water reef experience that gives guests (ages 6 and older) a unique snorkel adventure above a replica of the Dry Tortugas, one of the Florida Keys' most beautiful coral reef dive sites.  SCUBA certification not required! This experience is recorded using small action cameras. Guests will receive a copy of this footage after the experience.

Swim with the Fishes runs at 9 a.m. daily.

Shark Swim

Snorkel alongside more than 1,600 fish including stingrays, barracudas, sea turtles, and sand tiger sharks! This snorkel experience gives guests (ages 9 and over) a unique aquatic adventure. SCUBA certification not required! This experience is recorded using small action cameras. Guests will receive a copy of this footage after the experience.

The Shark Swim runs at 1:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily.

Dive with the Sharks

An unforgettable dive experience for certified divers (ages 15 and over). Come face to face with the Aquarium's sand tiger sharks! Take the plunge into the Aquarium's largest exhibit, teeming with sharks, moray eels, barracuda, a green sea turtle and more! All gear (and sharks) are included with this amazing experience. This experience is recorded using small action cameras. Guests will receive a copy of this footage after the experience.

Cuba Dive Exploration (Gardens of the Queen)

The Florida Aquarium is organizing our second dive live-aboard trip to dive the Gardens of the Queen in Cuba, scheduled from April 28 to May 5, 2018. You will spend seven nights onboard the Jardines Aggressor II live-aboard exploring the spectacular Gardens of the Queen (Jardines de la Reina) National Park, located 60 miles off the southern coast. Deadline for booking this trip is Dec. 6, 2017.
