Leap with the Fishes Frequently Asked Questions:

What time does the Leap with the Fishes start?

The celebration starts at 6:30pm on Saturday, February 29th and ends at 9am the following morning. Guests have free admission to the Aquarium on Sunday, March 1st.

 

Where do we park?

Our sleepover guests may park for free in The Florida Aquarium parking lot.  Be prepared to show your ticket to gain entry to the parking lot. 

 

Where do we check in?

Guests please bring your gear and enter through the Business Entrance.  You must bring a signed Participant Permission and Release Form for each member of your party. Welcome and orientation will begin at 7pm.

 

How old do I have to be to participate?

All participating guests must be at least 21 years old. IDs will be checked at the door.

 

What should we bring to the sleepover?

Everyone must bring a sleeping bag and a pillow.  A Twin Air Mattress or camping cots are allowed. Tents are not permitted.  Do not bring anything of personal value that could get lost.

Additional recommended items:

  • Warm appropriate sleepwear you wouldn’t’ be embarrassed for your grandma to see you wearing
  • Toiletry items
  • Empty Water bottle to fill up at the Aquarium
  • A camera (no flash photos)
  • Flashlights
  • Ear plugs (optional)
  • Sleep Mask (optional)

 

I have friends coming, how do we ensure that we are together?

During the registration process, there will be a section where you can identify your friends’ name(s).

 

 

Can we bring our own food and beverages into the Aquarium?

No outside food, beverages or alcohol will be allowed to enter the Aquarium. The late night snack and breakfast must be consumed in the area designated for dining. Except for your water bottle, no food or drinks are permitted in the sleeping locations.

 

What if I or someone in my group needs to cancel?

There are no refund for cancellations. All tickets are non-transferrable.
