Apollo Beach Volunteer

Volunteer in Apollo Beach

Volunteer opportunities are available at the Florida Conservation and Technology Center (FCTC) at both the Manatee Viewing Center (MVC) and The Florida Aquarium’s conservation campus in Apollo Beach. Engage with guests at FCTC in Apollo Beach beginning November 1 through April 15. Volunteers must commit to 10 hours of service per month for the entire season. All new volunteers must also attend a training session, dates to determined.

Cownose Cove Volunteer

Interact with guests at The Florida Aquarium’s Cownose Cove habitat located at Tampa Electric’s Manatee Viewing Center (MVC). Provide insight into this graceful species while providing instructions during a stingray touch experience. Cownose Cove is staffed by The Florida Aquarium’s team members seven days a week throughout the entire season in which the MVC/FCTC is open.

Must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer at Cownose Cove.

Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center Volunteer

Inspire guests who visit The Florida Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center. Provide insight into the work being done by our animal care specialists. Our conservation campus is staffed seven days a week throughout the entire season in which FCTC is open.
