Father's Day Weekend
June 20 & 21
Fathers receive free admission to the Aquarium on June 20th and 21st (Saturday and Sunday) with the purchase of a full price paid admission*. Take a stroll with dad through the Aquarium's many exhibits and get up close to more than 20,000 animals on Father's Day Weekend!
*A full price admission purchased on location from the Aquarium's ticket office must be made to gain free entry for each father.

The fun lasts even longer on Thursdays with extended hours – open until 6:30p.m.
Cost: $15 after 4p.m.

Independence Day Celebration

It’s going to be a red, white and blue weekend at The Florida Aquarium with dazzling fireworks displays, family-friendly entertainment, and an all-American themed dinner menu!
Fireworks will take place at 9:15pm. The Aquarium will close at the conclusion of the fireworks show.
Get the best seat on the Bay with a Fireworks Cruise!
Join us for the ultimate fireworks viewing experience with the best seats on the Bay aboard our Bay Spirit II catamaran! The boat departs from the Aquarium at 7:30pm for a sunset cruise, returning to the channel for the most spectacular views of the fireworks. The cruise includes a ticket for one drink and hors d'oeuvres. Admission to the Aquarium is also included with a Fireworks Cruise ticket.

Shark Week Celebration at The Florida Aquarium
July 11 & 12
Kickoff Shark Week with tons of toothy fun and get to know these remarkable and threatened ocean predators. The Florida Aquarium celebrates sharks year round, but our Shark Week celebration will be extra special—see six different species of sharks throughout the Aquarium while enjoying fun shark-themed activities all day long!
In addition to the Shark Week activities going on at The Florida Aquarium, you can also take in SHARK CON going on at the Florida State Fair Grounds. SHARK CON is an event held to raise awareness for ocean conservation by bringing the general public and ocean enthusiast together to inspire a love of the ocean.
