On behalf of The Florida Aquarium, we would like to congratulate you on your engagement! Imagine exchanging your vows in front of your family, closest friends and over 2,000 Coral Reef fish and sea life in our breathtaking 500,000 gallon floor to ceiling tank. Or make your reception an experience to remember among our 30,000 aquatic plants and animals from Florida and beyond with an aquarium wedding. Our galleries will provide an exquisite backdrop to your special day and create a lasting impression. Some new options to consider for your Tampa wedding location would be the Waterfront Overlook Deck for a ceremony option and our brand new Catamaran called The Bay Spirit II that holds up to 130 guests and can be used for sunset cruises, receptions, cocktail hours, or smaller Tampa wedding sites. Our Tampa wedding locations have been awarded for the 2012 bride’s choice awards. We hope that you will consider The Florida Aquarium as the beautiful setting to your unique wedding.
 
Both our indoor dinner location in the lower lobby or the outdoor Explore A Shore pavilion will seat over 150 guests comfortably with plenty of space for dancing the night away. Each space is available for a four-hour event. If you hold the ceremony, the rehearsal and dressing rooms are included. Our Tampa wedding venue will also include a greeter to direct your guests at our entrance and our Events Coordinator to oversee the entire event. Our Events Coordinator will also help you plan the entire event and our Catering Manager will help plan all the food and beverage items with you.
 
The Florida Aquarium is committed to bringing you and your guests the highest standards of quality in food, beverage and service. We are proud to offer a wide selection of delectable cuisine and are happy to create a customized menu to fit your needs. Our menus have been created to capture Florida’s many tropical flavors and local specialties as well as highlight treasures from around the world.

In addition to the facility fees required for an event rental there are food & beverage purchase requirements for a wedding held at the Aquarium.
