Tours fill up fast so stop at Guest Services and purchase your tickets as soon as you arrive! For all Behind the Scenes Programs: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian. Children 2 and under are free, but need to be counted.

Go behind the scenes to experience a whole new side of The Florida Aquarium. During the tour you'll have the opportunity to learn about the equipment that filters our marine habitats, the food necessary to keep over 20,000 animals healthy, and explore the upper deck of our 500,000 gallon coral reef exhibit. Along the way, meet with experts in the field, and learn more about animals rarely seen by other guests! Recommened for adults and children over 12.
Behind The Scenes tours are offered daily at 1:00pm.
$8 for Florida Aquarium Members; $12 for Non-Members
Visit areas of the Aquarium that are normally off-limits to our guests, including Turtle Base Tampa in our Carol J. and Barney Barnett Learning Center. Stop in to see our interactive learning spaces and meet three of our Animal Ambassadors up-close and personal! Discover how each animal's niche the natural world and how you can help them. With so many animals eager to meet you, each tour will be a unique experience you'll never forget! Recommended for families with small children.
Close-Up Critters is offered daily at 11:30am and 2:30pm.
