The Florida Aquarium is seeking customer service focused individuals to perform housekeeping duties. We have a part time position available on our day shift. Applicant must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays.
Pay rate: $8.25 per hour
Job Title: Seasonal Explore-A-Shore Associates
Join our team of exceptional Customer Service Associates working in our children’s outdoor water play area. Must be willing to participate in children’s outdoor water activities as well as monitor the area and ensure safety standards are enforced. Must be outgoing, friendly, willing to work outside and be flexible with days/time worked. Requires previous experience working with children in a camp/daycare setting. Position is seasonal (present-September 1) and pays $8.25 an hour.
Job Title: Seasonal Bus Greeters
Our Bus Greeters strive to ensure service exceeds our customer’s expectations. This is a customer service position requiring someone who is outgoing, friendly and not afraid to speak in front of large groups with confidence and clarity.
The main duties of the Seasonal Bus Greeter consist of greeting/welcoming field trip buses to the Aquarium (you are the first impression as you are the first person they will see); bringing the lunches in to the lunch area and helping the groups get situated. Must be willing to work outside and be flexible with days/time worked. Position is seasonal (present-September 1) and pays $8.00 an hour.
Job Title: Community Programs Coordinator

Duties: Responsible for development and daily management of community programs (camps, birthdays, tots and scout programs). Plans and implements innovative and effective community programs in direct support of the purpose/vision/mission/values of The Florida Aquarium. Maintains relationships with outside partners for programming. Maintains accurate expense records for reporting purposes. Oversees budgets and materials. Enhances community awareness of programming through marketing efforts. Designs, implements, trains and oversees Instructors, Lead Party Host, Summer Camp Staff, Volunteers and Interns. Teaches school and community programs.
Full-Time, Salaried position with benefits after 90 days.
