Opening Eyes to the World Outside! With the recent opening of our dynamic Carol J. and Barney Barnett Learning Center, you can immerse yourself in themed interactive rooms unlike anything you’ve ever seen! Whether you’re taking a simulated dive into the open ocean, or marveling at a giant oak tree, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a whole new world while you engage in hands-on science and exploration.
 

 

 


 

Scheduling A Fieldtrip


Step One: Choose Your Program & Date
Read over AquaVentures and submit this simple form. Our programs are aligned with FCAT Benchmarks, and correlations to www.thinkfinity.org, presented by Verizon Foundation, create a rich educationcal package. Join the journey and experience one ocean!
        
Step Two: Review Your Confirmation Details & Confirm Transportation
Check your email for confirmation materials and a lunch order form. Please call 813-273-4015 if you do not receive an email.  Need buses? Consider using our preferred education transportation partner Martz First Class Coach. Special rates for Hillsborough and Pinellas County. Call 800-282-8020.

Step Three: Prepare Your Students & Chaperones
Prepare your students with pre & post lessons and by printing scavenger hunts for additional learning opportunities during their visit.  Each chaperone should be given this guide to prepare them with directions, parking information, and Aquarium guidelines.
