Exhibit Educator Intern-
If you have a passion for animals and want to share that passion with others, this will be one of the most learning-intensive and leadership-based internships you will find! With training and skill development Interns will be responsible for the instruction of educational public programs focusing on different ecosystems in all areas of the aquarium, potentially including exhibit talks, touch tanks, gallery walks, dive program narrations and tours. Internship is 12-15 weeks in duration in which 1-2 projects may be completed. Interns ensure that all programming presented is engaging, innovative and effective, as determined by evaluation, and in direct support of the mission of The Florida Aquarium. Interns should be available two to three days per week with one day possibly being a weekend day, and must commit to the duration of the internship.
Must submit resume, an unofficial transcript, two letters of reference and a cover letter which outlines your area of interest and your availability.
Internships are on a volunteer basis.
