Intern will perform a variety of tasks including; organizing and participating in local environmental initiatives, planning and logistics for on-site and off-site clean-ups and stewardship events, maintaining spreadsheets and databases, creating awareness campaigns using social media, and developing flyers, sign-up forms and other marketing and awareness tools. Applicants must have a strong awareness of environmental issues as well as excellent written, communication, and social media skills. Prefer outgoing and detail oriented individuals pursuing degrees in environmental science, wildlife or marine biology, environmental law or related field. Applicant must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work some weekends - 10-15 hours per week minimum.
