No Bone Zone

No Bone Zone is especially designed for the younger marine enthusiast, with low tanks and plenty of hands-on opportunities. This unique 1,200 square-foot exhibit is the Aquarium's focus on invertebrates, animals without backbones.

Exhibit Highlights:

S.C.U.M. Touchtank
Seastar
Sea Cucumber

The main feature is a 600-gallon tank where visitors can touch Sea stars, Crabs, Urchins, Mollusks and other invertebrates from the world's oceans.

A second 400 gallon tank - "Terrific Pacific" - features tropical, Indo-Pacific corals and other invertebrates such as giant clams and cleaner shrimp. The corals in this presentation have a story of their own; they have been either farm-raised or gathered from confiscations of illegal shipments.

Crawl-in Hermit Crab Shells
Imagine you're a hermit crab with these super-sized shells. Small, medium and large kids can "try on" each shell for a great photo opportunity.
