Interns will get hands on training in a variety of aspects on board our 72 ft. catamaran, the Bay Spirit II. Duties will include, but are not limited to assisting crew members in completing all morning housekeeping duties, assisting in the operation of the vessel while at sea, assists in all routine maintenance o the vessel while in port, and completes any other duties as instructed by the captain of the day. Interns will work directly with the public and will be expected to maintain our amazing guest experience we provide every day. Intern may also be asked to assist in Marine Operations as the need arises. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience working on a vessel as a mate and potentially shadow the captain.
Summer interns will all start Friday September 2nd.
Internship is 12 weeks in duration in which at least 1 project must be completed. A minimum of 16 hours per week is required and interns must be available at least one weekend day.
