Entertainment Intern

If you have a passion for sharing a laugh, making someone’s day, or building experiences that can last a lifetime, this will be one of the most learning-intensive, hospitality-based internships you will find! With training and skill development, Interns will be responsible for the presentation of entertainment public programs focusing on the guests’ experiences through character appearances, hostings, special encounters, and interpretive opportunities.

Must be college sophomore or higher and up to 6 months post graduate with a GPA of 2.5/4.0.  Knowledge and experience in Performance/Theatre, Visual Arts, Business, Education, Biology, or related fields is beneficial. 

Internship requirements also include:
 
• Standing (up to 6 hours per day)
• Walking (6 hours per day)
• More than normal talking
• Public Speaking, Hosting and Costume Performance
• Some contact with a living collection of plants and animals in a central Florida climate
 
 
Fall interns will all start Sunday September 17th

Internship is 12 weeks in duration in which at least 1 project must be completed. A minimum of 16 hours per week is required and interns must be available at least one weekend day.
 
Upon completion of this program, the intern will be able to:
 
• Engage with guests on the guest pathway.
• Identify Audiences
• Develop Programs in a Team Setting
 
Schedules can include:
  • Thursdays and Sundays     9:00am-5:00pm
  •  
  • OR
  •  
  • Fridays and Sundays     9:00am-5:00pm

May add additional days as wanted or needed, flexibility for special events and evenings preferred.
