Job Title:  Summer AquaCamp On-location Instructor    

Salary:      $12.00 per hour

Description:  Create and teach a fun summer camp experience for children K – 3rd grades.  Camps include crafts, games, science experiments, Aquarium visits, field trips, and animal encounters.  Instructors are responsible for developing fun activities that correspond to the camp theme and animal encounters. 

Requirements:  Certified teacher or informal education experience with teaching elementary students for at least 1 year. Experience in marine science, elementary science and outdoor education is an advantage.

Full time, Monday – Friday, 4 or more weeks, May 29th- August 4th, 2017.


 

Job title: Summer AquaCamp 5-6 Year Old Instructor

Salary:             $12.00 per hour

Job Title:  Summer AquaCamp Travel Counselor

Salary:      $10.00 per hour

Description:  Assist students and instructors with activities during summer AquaCamps at the Aquarium and on field trips.  Supervise students and greet parents during afternoon extended care.  Be responsible and assist instructor as needed with student safety and behavior.  Serve as a substitute as needed. 

Requirements: experience working with children for at least 1 year, ability to support instructor with limited direction, must be responsible and dependable.  Work full-time, Monday – Friday, 4 or more weeks, May 29th- August 4th, 2017.
