Conservation Volunteer Newsletter

               

The Florida Aquarium promotes and participates in the conservation of the natural environment. Our efforts combine scientific research, animal rescue and rehabilitation and a variety of environmentally focused field projects.

By signing up to receive our Conservation Volunteer newsletter, you can become a Conservation Volunteer and help us achieve our vision to Protect and Restore our Blue Planet by taking part in Aquarium organized clean-ups, plantings and restoration projects. These projects occur at various times throughout the year and may take place at various satellite locations throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Our Conservation Volunteer Newsletter will be sent out when we have new and exciting opportunities scheduled so that you, our new Conservation Volunteers will have the ability to sign-up to participate! These newsletters will only be sent when we have new opportunities available.  

Families with children and Corporate Groups are welcome!

*Please note that all Conservation Volunteers will be required to sign liability and photo/ video release waivers. Any participants under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent/guardian present at the time of volunteering.

The Florida Aquarium does not offer volunteer opportunities for court appointed community service and Aquarium staff is not permitted to sign any applicable documentation.
